Gracie Jiu-Jitsu Schertz is here to help you round out your child's homeschool education. We use Gracie University's established Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu courses to create a set of well-rounded PE courses for all ages.
Upon starting the homeschool program, we will provide a syllabus, access to all of the online Gracie University video content, and a tracking sheet so you can see what they will learn and keep accountability for their supplemental study and practice time at home!

Your homeschool student learns alongside other students in welcoming, age-appropriate classes. This allows them to grow their social circles and interact with a diverse set of their peers, while building confidence and learning to keep themselves safe away from home.

Students develop balance, coordination, strength, body awareness, perseverance, and the ability to work with training partners. They also build confidence while learning practical, responsible self-defense.
Our existing evening and Saturday classes provide homeschool families with a structured activity that can complement their education plans.

A playful introduction to movement, coordination, balance, listening, teamwork, and foundational self-defense through the Gracie Bullyproof curriculum.

Students develop technical skills, fitness, problem-solving, respect, and confidence through engaging partner exercises and self-defense activities.

Our structured beginner program teaches practical self-defense, technical skills, physical conditioning, and body awareness. It is an option for homeschool high-school students of either gender, with a parent-directed half-credit PE documentation framework available.
Teen girls can also choose our women-only personal safety and self-defense program, covering awareness, boundary-setting, confidence, physical skills, and responsible responses to threats.

When your student begins training, we can provide a homeschool PE syllabus and activity tracking sheets to help you maintain educational records. These resources support attendance, instructional learning, home practice, and progress assessment.
For eligible high-school students, ask about our half-credit PE course framework. Parents determine homeschool credit and acceptance of credit by other institutions is not guaranteed.

Students can supplement live instruction with online Gracie University videos for their program. Reviewing techniques helps reinforce class lessons and supports independent study between sessions.
Families can record instructional video review separately from physically active practice on their PE activity sheets.
Our Gracie Bullyproof instruction emphasizes respect, responsibility, confidence, assertive communication, and avoiding unnecessary violence. These skills complement the fitness and movement goals of physical education.
